China Glaze swatches

So here I am again, posting some new swatches from my Transdesign package.

First: The Ten Man by China Glaze




Great polish. But to have the shimmer effect, you have to put 3 layers of it on your nails. That's the best way to make the polish really goodlooking. Finished it with a ordinairy topcoat from the local drugstore. I've had more silver ish polishes, but this one is the best. It has a sheer of white in it, which makes it a one of a kind polish.

Second: Atlantis by China Glaze

Atlantis. I love it! Seriously! The picture doesn't capture how much glitters are in it! It's so gorgeous... Also a one of a kind polish. It's a geen/turquoise color with a lot of multiglitter. Really stunning. Around this time it's a great Christmas polish, you'll fit perfectly with your Christmastree!

Opi Ink Suede and more

So, yesterday I received a package from Georgia, USA. My Transdesign package stuffed with nine (9!!) new gorgeous nailpolishes! I was soooo happy when it finally arrived. I wanted to polish my nails yesterday, but was too lazy to do it. Sooooo after this afternoon shopping with my friend, I polished my nails with Opi Ink Suede. And it is really gorgeous! I can recommend to you all, that if you are really into blue, purple and matte, you should get this polish.



Opi Ink Suede is a one of a kind polish (in my opinion). It's a matte, but with a little touch of shimmer in it. The colors are great, it's a dark denim color with a shade of purple in it. Classy and original. You've gotta love it.

Left to right: Garnet Lapis, Amber Ruby, Bronze Ruby, Ruby Sapphire and Pink Rose diamond. Really pretty duochrome. The Pink Rose Diamond is an amazing holo!

No swatches today, I'll just be enjoying looking at my new polishes.

Stars In Space!

Gisteren lagen de lakjes van P2 die Kirsten had meegenomen uit Duitsland bij me in de bus. Ze waren allemaal prachtig, maar er was een lakje dat een geval apart was: P2 Spacy.




Spacy is een donkergrijze metallic lak met hele subtiele lichtgrijze shimmer. De lak is dekkend in twee laagjes. Op de foto draag ik geen topcoat. Hoewel ik bij andere lakken nogal moest wennen aan het feit dat ze zo donker waren voor mijn doen, vond ik deze gelijk geweldig!

English: P2 Spacy is a dark grey metallic polish with a very subtle light grey shimmer. The polish is opaque in two coats. I love this color!

Omdat ik vanavond een etentje heb, leek het me leuk om er iets meer mee te doen dan alleen maar een kleurtje op de nagels.




Nog steeds spacy, maar met sterretjes voor een extra dimensie. Voor het stempelen heb ik imageplate M3 gebruikt en als stempellakken Konad White en China Glaze Millenium. Op mijn duim heb ik een sterretje van de hobbywinkel geplakt.

English: Still spacy, but a little more dimension with these stars. For stamping I used imageplate M3. Stampingpolishes were Konad White and China Glaze Millenium. On my thumb I've got a little star which I got from the craftstore.

I Think I Like It!

Hoewel ikzelf niet veel lakjes heb, een stuk of 20 verschillende kwam ik gisteravond achter. Vind ik het wel leuk om een aantal lakjes te kunnen combineren qua kleur.

Deze keer koos ik voor de knalroze uit de Essence Colour & Go collectie, samen met een subtiele parelmoer shimertje van Miss Helen (No 78).



Hoewel veel mensen denken dat de nagellak van Miss Helen (Oftewel de Hema nagellak) van slechte kwaliteit is, is het opzich wel goed te gebruiken voor een shimer.
De verschillende lakjes willen eigenlijk niet in 1 keer goed dekken, waardoor je meerdere laagjes nodig hebt.

Ik ben een van de mensen die deze nagellak eigenlijk niet geschikt vind om te gebruiken als een dekkende nagellak. Zo had ik ooit een nagellak die 5/6 laagjes nodig had, voor hij eindelijk een beetje wilde gaan dekken.
Helaas dat ik het niet goed liet uitharden, je kon het er zo weer vanaf schuiven.
Misschien dat het lag aan de batch, dat kan eenmaal gebeuren.



Dit is dan een laagje Essence Colour & Go, en twee laagjes Miss Helen (No 78).
De parelmoer finish van de Miss Helen kleur zorgt in het licht (kortom, zoals op de foto) ervoor dat de roze kleur niet te hard is. De kleur is in het echt net iets donkerder dan op de foto, het is vergelijkbaar met de kleur van het flesje nagellak op de eerste foto.
